Many of the fighters in the Spanish Civil war were forced to fled to exile after the defeat of democracy. Cinema can help to recapture collective memory. Films are a powerful machine in creating myths and due to its visual nature it is the best way to crystallize long-lasting memories. This seminar presents exile images and stories through the image given by the cinema.
This is a university extension course assigned with 1 credit (25 class hours), after certifying the attendance (80%) and delivering an essay. It is also included as Practice class hours for Doctorate students.
